The last few days ain't been real good in the weather department and they're calling for rain on and off all next week. We'll take a page out of Stoney Mike's book and call the shoot early if it looks bad. Best to call it early so you all can plan accordingly. <br />

Thinking if it continues to rain almost every day we will check the forecast and call it by Saturday at the latest <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbdown:' /> and a day or two earlier if possible. Not a good thing to cancel the first shoot, <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cray.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cray:' /> but better that than tearing up the road and making more work for us dinosaurs and cripples that try to maintain the range. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sad:' /> <br />

Hey Coot! You're in charge of the weather and even though you can't make the first shoot the least you could do is stop the rain by Wednesday so it will be passable by Sunday. [/size][/color]

This has not been a good month for weather! Since we have the rain dates set up this year, I see no reason not to cancel early when it looks like the weather or road will be bad. I'm not certain without looking it up, but I believe the rain date for the April match is Saturday, April 30th.

I couldn't find actual rain dates in the 2011 Match Flyer pdf file or on the web site. Perhaps they are posted in the private Rough Riders forum.<br />

If the rain causes damage that needs to be fixed, please post about that and any repair work dates as soon as possible. I can use the advance warning to get my good friend Johnny Popper to volunteer to help out. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> I'll volunteer myself, if my old railroad injury isn't acting up at the time.<br />
