That's a wrap! Thanks for a great season. See you all next year!

We should be shooting 2nd Saturday and 4th Sunday again next year.

Final schedule to be finalized in February.

wisconsin CCW

I am holding a copy of legislation proposing a new law for Wisconsin. Two versions are up for discussion. One is for Constitutional carry, and the other is a shall-issue permit with no classes needed. Can we get a race going here between ill and wi?

If a suitable sawed-off revolver or derringer could be borrowed, perhaps a Cowboy Concealed Carry side match for the Scholarship Shoot could have FIB vs Cheesehead teams (weighted for the number of shot made by each side) with team leader and overall leader prizes?
• I have been assisting a legislator and a legislative liaison working with WI legislators with information and drafts of the bills. The snag has been legislators who in the past have supported the bill now have decided that there needs to be another look at things wanted in the bill, and the some training will be a mandatory part of any bill for consideration.
Think good bye Utah type PPA bills, hello MN type PPA bills being introduced. All this could change as things get closer. Look for a mid July deadline on the vote.

Having said all that, here is what is needed: contact any person in the WI Legislature and ASK for their support on any PPA bill introduced. The bills will all be labeled Personal Protection Act (PPA) of some sort so do not look for a CCW title.
