2011 Banquet...

<div class="IPBDescription">Or lack of it...</div>[size="4"][color="#099000"]Well I have the dubious job of announcing that we didn't get the banquet for this year organized. Over time the attendance has dropped and some complaints of the cost have been mentioned. This combined with not getting to the organization of it on a timely basis has made it a dead issue for this year. Even the traffic here on the web site has fallen way off so using it to get the flyers out and/or promoting it without having anymore shoots to pass the flyers out at makes it a losing proposition.<br />

So with regard to next year I have the question for a poll that I'll set up here. If we get things done next year and hold the price between $25.00 to $30.00 at Donnellys would you probably attend? I'm thinking we might really need the banquet next year to get release from all the politicking that will have been going on.<br />

Jim: I am definitly in for next year's banquet. The banquet is the highlight of my limited social season. I'm very disappointed that we are not having one this fall.
