    Congratulations! Very distinctive guns http://www.uberti.co...-and-police.php<br />

    The down side is, there won't be any local cowboy matches for 4-5 months. The up side is, you have that long to get in tune with them. Don't forget to wear your cowboy garb when you take them to the indoor range. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /><br />

    If I were buying new cowboy revolvers from scratch, I like the look of Open Tops, but I already had a early Ruger Bisley .44 mag when I got into SASS shooting and didn't care to add another revolver caliber to my collection, so I bought another of the discontinued model off gunbroker.com.<br />
    <br />
    Uberti's web site only lists Outlaws in .45 Colt caliber? Did they forget to list the .44-40 caliber, or have you located discontinued guns or are they newly released and not yet cataloged guns?<br />
    <br />
    Will they fit your current leather?
  • I ordered mine from Buffalo Arms. Mine are the Frontier model, with the 5.5 barrels. Dont know if they fit my holsters or not, hope so,. and I paid far less than the Uberti price list.
  • Got my Remmies, and they do fit my holsters.<br />

    Thinking that maybe you might want someone to break those in for ya. I could take em for say maybe five or six years to make sure they operate properly and then if you think you still want to shoot em you could have em back. I don't have a lot of gun storage room left, but I'm willing to make the sacrifice for you.
  • You are too kind, Jim. I'll take that thought into considerable consideration, and get back to you soon. Stay tuned. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbsup:' />
  • dddd Gnome, gnome on the range&#33;
    Now that's a real nice looking set of irons!
  • Remmies now at Huckleberry's for action jobs.

    You'll like 'em; I have 71/2"ers in .45LC and besides just looking kewl, they shoot great also. Good luck with them.
  • Remmies are home! Huckleberry did a fantastic job on the actions. Next stop, Eagle grips for some Black Pearl!
  • This sux. Eagle grips wont make any kind of grips for Remington 75's or 90's. Disappointed.
  • Try Tombstone Grips.
  • Thanks Rio, I'll check them out. I have a gift certificate I won at last years Charity shoot from Eagle, was hoping to use that.
