EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE <br />
It seems each week grows busier than the week before – we’ve been inundated with phone calls from people who want to join, who want to learn how to shoot, who are interested in concealed carry, or want to get involved in political activity. I’m sure this is a trend that will continue for some time. Because of all the activity, we are now at close to 25,000 members!!! What is interesting is that a) a large number of teachers have joined the ISRA , and b) different types of gun owners (hunters, trap shooters, and collectors) have finally realized they, too, are targets of the anti-gunners. In addition, we are seeing anti-gunners become more and more vile. I have had calls from members expressing dismay at the anti-gunners’ attitude and actions. For those of us who have dealt with them for a while, this is no surprise. <br />
One of the best ways you can fight back is to come to IGOLD on Wednesday, March 6^th, 2013 – this has to be the biggest pro-gun attendees ever. The bus schedule is now posted at isra.org, once there, click on ‘store.’ <br />

There will be plenty of fine firearms to raffle off, a nationally known keynote speaker, and great pro-gun networking opportunities for those who attend. So, mark the date down now – April 4, 2013, Diplomat West Banquets, Elmhurst, IL. Doors open at 5:30 for a social/networking hour with dinner served at 7:00. <br />
