In a previous post, Snidely Whiplash asked about out of state folks attending the IGOLD march in Springfield, Ill. Well, of course you can! Here is some more information along with a PDF copy of all the important information with bus schedules, etc. The Woodstock and Rockford busses look to be the choice for cheeseheads coming down.<br />

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE <br />
Wednesday Governor Quinn reinforced his attack on law abiding gun owners in his State of the State address. This was not unexpected but it does serve to remind gun owners the true intent of this administration. Next week the Illinois House of Representatives will not be in session so there will not be any action in the House or any of the bills that have been introduced in the House of Representatives. The Illinois Senate will be meeting so we will see bills being introduced but little or no action is expected. This break will give everyone time to prepare for IGOLD and the legislative session. Things will begin in earnest on February 19^th. <br />
Speaking of IGOLD please plan to come and bring all you friends. You should have your IGOLD packet by now with the information in them. The busses will fill up fast so if you are planning to ride a bus you need to make your reservation right away. If the buses are full don’t let that stop you from coming. Find a way to carpool or even ride the train if that works for you. However you do it, try to get to IGOLD. <br />
I know many of you are looking for a list of the gun bills on the website. The first list should be posted by the time you receive this, and you can expect to see the list change going forward.. <br />
In the meantime try to recruit as many new members as you can. <br />

I have taken March 6th off from work. I called the ISRA at 815-635-3198 after reading that the Rockford Bus is On Standby. They don't have enough people signed up for another bus yet. If you're thinking of going and using their bus ride to get there, you might want to commit a.s.a.p. to ensure another bus is leased for the Rockford-Springfield run.<br />
