EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE

Anti-gun groups are swarming around the tragic incident in California like killer bees. The Democracy Alliance, a group of 100 or more billionaires, Hollywood types, and left wing nuts, are putting together a war chest of around 200 million dollars to attack our Second Amendment rights. This money will be distributed to a variety of organizations that will attack individually or in unison - kind of like Al Qaida does it. Never think this is ever going to be over - never.

The Legislature adjourned with no major anti-gun or pro-gun action. Three of the bills that did pass were wildlife bills and are fine. The Instructors Bill passed and the implementation bares watching. Right now there are 25 anti-gun bills and 46 pro-gun, pro-hunting bills still alive. The balance is made up of bills "under review" which means we are watching them; with amendments they could become good or bad bills.

The danger will come in the 98th General Assembly Lame Duck Session, which ends on the 2nd Wednesday of January. The 99th General Assembly 2015 Spring Session begins on the 2nd Wednesday of January, after the seating of the new legislators. I expect a landslide of anti-gun bills to come out of the woodwork; of course the election will have a lot to do with how successful we will be.

We have 4" X 6" Concealed Carry Welcome signs in stock. They are $5.00 each or 3 for $10.00, plus tax, and shipping and handling. Order yours today!

By the way, renewal time is upon us. If you have not renewed yet, please do so right away. The more members we have, the stronger we will be.
 Thanks for being a member.
Pardon my French, but I think Lame Ass Session would be a more appropriate term.
