EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE <br />

The ISRA wishes you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year. <br />
<br />
I have a present for the anti-gun crowd. Since 2006, the number of women participating in the shooting sports is up 42% according the National Shooting Sports Foundation. That news made me happy so I am sure it made the anti's happy too! <br />
<br />
If you are an Illinois Concealed Carry License holder, I want you to give yourself a present. I would like you to gift yourself with an advanced class. The ISRA has a lot of classes to offer and we are still adding more - even if it is not an ISRA class, please take it. The more training you have the better off you and your family will be. If you have others in your household who are eligible for an ICCL class, get them started. <br />

In Arizona, Martha McSally ® defeated incumbent Rep. Ron Barber (D). Barber was a staffer for Gabby Gifford and replaced her when she resigned. A lengthy recount has just recently concluded. McSally won by 167 votes. It is elections like this that prove why membership is very important. <br />
