I'm waiting for this watchamacallit http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee144/H...orunclogint.jpg

to use in the new catigory I think is now gonna be ah modtrabanger er something so I'm thinkin this will fit right in If I can figure where I put it and figure what it was I think I got or did I get it dang ya can't see the thing when ya put it down er did I even get it yet might help if I knew what it was again. Well Im just gettin ready if I only knew what class I am shootin in ifn they get tramod figured out or not. Oh I'll just go back to Duelist I guess.
Denny, I am into your decorations! One year when I was in the army the wife wanted to put Christmas lights in the window so I hung a coat hanger on the curtian rod and hung lights on it for her. Now she's in charge of that stuff.
Onto the question, I would like to get a mec grabber in 16ga and load some 7/8oz loads for my 16 `97. also need Tooth to make a 16ga gammer slide. I already reload my 12ga with 7/8oz shot but just want to try something different to see what I think of it.
Of course, I've been clearing out snow. And I finally got our Christmas lights put up.
Then there was the one friend who asked me where I got all the "Clear Christmas Lights?" Explained that after many years of listening the the complaints from the wife about getting them up I solved the problem completely. I left them up all year long and after some years of constantly being up all the paint chipped off all the bulbs.

Denny, you can tell Millie that the ones you put up are your tribute to Christmas around the world and the round ball represents a copy of the globe. I think I can see a number of the continents in the display, but then I haven't see it when it's lit up.
Well to get serious (if that's possible) for a momment. I got about five or six thousand bullets to size, as many shells to load and the pistols and rifles to clean from this last season. When you're cleaning and loading for three it takes a while and I like to have all the shells for the entire season loaded and ready to go by spring. At least I got plenty of shot shells already loaded.

Will also be working up new loads as I bought an eight pound keg of Clay Dot to use for all my loads this season. So first I have to figure out what the he!! the loads are going to be. As there are no loads for the powder other than shot gun I'll have to play a little with it to come up with what will work.

Well for my preperation for next year I went downstairs looked at everything, saw they was still there behaving themselves and went back upatairs to plow more snow. I figure I'll wait until Thursday or Friday before the first shoot to begin reloading that way I have the right degree of pressure to get everything done. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I sold my old Rugers to my new son-in-law and bought a new pair -- 45 LC -- 5 1/2 barrel -- blue.
I'll have to get these to Huck.
Regards,
Well, I finally accomplished the final step in the preparation of my new pistols for spring. JJ and I went down to visit Raj at Eagle Grips and Raj installed a very nice set of American Elk grips. They look like stag but at 1/2 the price. To top it off, Raj took us to lunch at his favorite Indian restaurant lunch buffet. Great food except for the curried goat that JJ had four or five helpings of. Sorry, but I had to pass on that!
Truly, the curried goat was excellent. But DD lies, I only had like three plates full of food. After all it was a buffet, so one has to get his money's worth. The mango sherbet was also very nice for desert.

Haven't purchased any grips for a while, but have now eaten at three different restaurants in the area of his shop. The trip, the B.S., going out for lunch with Raj, it's all good. Prefer the Indian or Mexican restaurants.

Heading up to Lawman Wolf's establishment today to pick out a design for him to engrave on my '73 stock so that Huckleberry can put my rifle together with the new stock so I can use it at Winter Range next month.
Come on warm weather--I've about had it with this cold and snow!
Hey Ug, show us some photos of the work.

D.D.
Wolf lasered some different checkering onto the pistol grip of my new '73 stock; Shotgun Bandit is going to fine-sand the stock for me, then I have to stain and finish it; I'll take pictures and post them then.

P.S. Wolf has been having way too much fun with that engraver; he came up with quite a few different designs to pick from. Also, Wolf did some laser engraving on some pistol grips for Bandit that his wife designed (Wolf's wife Kathy) and they look really neat. I'll be going back up there for more engraving that's for sure.

Dan, I'm envious right now but I'll be enjoying the weather in Phoenix in another month and a half: Huck, Asleep at the Wheel, Buffalo Creek Kid and Toranado are all going to be there this year.

See all 'yall somewheres down the trail. (was that the proper terminology Dice?)
Well I guess I am the last cowboy on the list.OK, let me bring u-all up2date. I have learned from the Dr, at Sloan and North Western I was only expected to live 4 months after treatments. I just past the 3 year date. I am now a very lucky guy, by the grace of God and a lot of praying I remain cancer free. I have had some setbacks, I no longer make spit and every day it is harder to eat. But I am alive. I am not able to do much for I have no energy. I have reloaded 2000 12 ga Win AA 's 13.1 grains accurate Nitro 100 7/8 oz #6 shot with win 209 primers on my dillion 900. My 650 will be dusted off soon so I can reload 5000 200grain rnfp lead 45long colt, will use trail boss powder I do not remember the charge at this time but I do know they go bang! All my guns are clean and ready to go. If anyone would like to shoot I am a member at Plainfield and I am sure all you need do is call me to go shoot. It was good seeing some of you at gat guns, I hope we get to shoot together more this year.
Kid Mike is very active in school with band, swim team, and water polo. He wants to go to End of Trail this year so if any one would like to team up with us we could use the help. He also would like to shoot as much as he can this year as well as me. Jeweler Jim this is a public apologise, I regret not doing what I said, I was to come to your home and I did not do it, I am truly sorry.
God bless to all, and I pray that God looks over you and grants you all your wishes. COS
Sider - its so good to hear about you. My contribution to the "whatcha got new for Spring" topic will be a total knee replacement in my right leg. This will be done Feb 23 and I can hardly wait because I am just barely able to hobble around.

My other "Spring thing" is a new hat. I was nosing around on fleabay a couple of months ago and ran across a Rand Custom Hatters hat. I ended up getting it for $40 and subsequent checking with the company showed it sold for over $700 when it was made for a Montana cowboy in 1987 and who apparently never wore it. Why so expensive? Well, it is a Rand and --- it is made from mink and beaver! Really cool, and, after I used my wife's clothing steamer on it and put a decent crush on it, has become my favorite cowboy hat. Maybe I'll get to wear it to a match or 2 this year.
